Dogs

Dogs in the summertime
Screech out in fleas
Across traffic-lights
And prostitutes.

Dogs in the wintertime
Are intellectuals
Sprawling out in discourse
In road and in paratha fight
In trafficked children
In green planned cities
With lush hush fancydress parties.

Dogs are your best friends
In summertime with abject disco-dancing
In wintertime with heavy discourse
Queendogs that break your hearts.
Kingdogs that eat your garbage.
Dogs are the angels
Of hearts’ and fart’s dirtboxes.
